The Hico Tigers routed the host Hamilton Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Tigers (16-9) will now prepare for their battle against Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Wampus Cats go into the 1A Region II District 12 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Itasca was routed by Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Itasca for a 1A Region II District 12 battle on Monday, April 22. Hamilton will meet a Wampus Cats squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Hico (Hico, TX). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 1-6.
