The Long Beach Bearcats softball team (Long Beach, MS), was routed 11-1 in Friday's league test with the host Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS)
Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) in a 6A Region 4 test, on Tuesday, April 16. Hancock will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Maroon Tide enter the test with a 8-14 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS).
The Bearcats (6-13) will now prepare for their test against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Hurricanes enter the 6A Region 4 test with a 13-11 record.
