The Orion Chargers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Kewanee Boilermakers to 15 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Orion moves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Chargers travel to Macomb (Macomb, IL) to clash with the Bombers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 13. The Bombers come into the game with a record of 6-2. Macomb won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL)

In their next game, the Boilermakers clash with the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a Three Rivers East game, on Monday, April 15. Kewanee will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record.
