The Knox City Greyhounds softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Munday Moguls to 16 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Knox City improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Northside (Vernon, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 1A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Indians come into the game with a record of 4-11. Northside lost 9-8 in their recent league game against Electra (Electra, TX)

In their next game, the Moguls clash with the Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. Munday will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
