The Lincoln-Way East Griffins softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Oswego East Wolves to 5 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Lincoln-Way East improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Griffins travel to Sterling (Sterling, IL) to clash with the Golden Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, April 13. The Golden Warriors come into the game with a record of 9-1. Sterling won 10-0 in their recent league game against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 13. Oswego East will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 8-6 league loss to Morrison (Morrison, IL).
