In Friday's league outing, the host McDonough Rams softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Patuxent Panthers.

Coming up next, the Rams encounter the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Monday, April 15. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 4-3 record after their 13-0 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD).

The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Southern Maryland challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Calvert beat Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 19-4, in a league challenge.
