In Friday's league outing, the visiting McLean Highlanders softball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Washington-Liberty Generals.
Coming up next, the Highlanders encounter the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 15. McLean will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 9-0 record after their 17-4 league win over St. John's (Washington, DC).
The Generals (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets enter the Liberty outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Herndon was routed by Langley (McLean, VA), 7-0, in a league outing.
