Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Badgers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Monticello for a 2A Central challenge on Friday, April 12. Wayne will battle a Buckaroo squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Buckaroo record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Monticello falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Buckaroo travel to Wayne (Bicknell, UT) to battle the Badgers in a 2A Central challenge on Friday, April 12. The Badgers enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Wayne won 20-18 in their recent league challenge against North Sevier (Salina, UT)
