The San Marcos Rattlers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns to 6 in the Rattlers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, San Marcos improves its record to 11-16 on the year. The Rattlers travel to East Central (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, April 19. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 23-6.

In their next game, the Unicorns clash with the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 game, on Friday, April 19. New Braunfels will attempt to improve on its 21-8 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 10-18 record after their 13-7 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
