California High School Softball - North bounces West

North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA), 12-6 in a league challenge.

The Stars now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Mira Monte for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17.

With the loss, West falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Spartans in a South Yosemite Mountain challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 8-10. South lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA)
