R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 25-14 in a league challenge.

The Demons now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Tabor for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Monday, April 15. R.J. Reynolds will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Parkland falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Bobcats in a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Glenn lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)
