Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles (Mullins, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Williamsburg Academy Stallions (Kingstree, SC), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Carolina Academy for a SCISA AAA Region II challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Williamsburg Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Stallions host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to battle the Swampcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Swampcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-2.
