The Tyler Lions softball team (Tyler, TX), was routed 16-0 in Friday's league test with the host Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX)

Coming up next, the Pirates clash with the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 test, on Tuesday, April 16. Pine Tree will attempt to improve on its 16-12 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 21-9 record after their 9-0 league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).

The Lions (4-23) will now prepare for their test against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats come into the 5A Region II District 15 test with a 16-10 record. In their last test, Hallsville overcame Longview (Longview, TX), 13-3, in a league test.
