The Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) baseball trounced the visiting Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO), 11-1 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Mean Moose now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Centennial for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. Alamosa will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.

With the defeat, Pagosa Springs drops to 7-2 on the year. The Pirates host Durango (Durango, CO) to clash with the Demons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Demons go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Durango won 12-5 in their recent league challenge against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO)
