The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX), saw Austin's baseball team gain a win over Bowie by a tally of 20-8.

The Panthers (4-19) will now prepare for their battle against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets enter the 4A Region I District 1 battle with a 4-18 record. In their last battle, Irvin was overwhelmed by Riverside (El Paso, TX), 9-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Bears face the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 12-13 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
