In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Viroqua Blackhawks baseball team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Bangor Cardinals.
The Blackhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI). The Red Hawks enter the Coulee game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau held off Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI), 8-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals face the Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 12. Bangor will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 4-3 league loss to Aquinas (La Crosse, WI).
