The Mabank Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Brownsboro Bears to 0 in the Panthers league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they host Kemp for a 4A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, April 15. Mabank will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 18-1 league loss to Van (Van, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-15.

With the defeat, Brownsboro drops to 5-18 on the year. The Bears host Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Indians go into the test with a record of 17-8. Grand Saline won 4-2 in their recent league test against Quitman (Quitman, TX)
