The Central Catholic Buttons baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Savio Eagles to 1 in the Buttons league win on Saturday.

The Buttons now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to TMI-Episcopal for a TAPPS Division I District 3 test on Tuesday, April 15. Central Catholic will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 11-4 league win over Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Savio drops to 8-9 on the year. The Eagles host Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Apaches in a TAPPS Division I District 3 test on Monday, April 21. The Apaches go into the test with a record of 11-14. Antonian Prep lost 11-4 in their recent league test against TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX)
