Michigan High School Baseball - Utica defeats Chippewa Valley

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) and the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), saw Utica's baseball team gain a win over Chippewa Valley by a tally of 7-2.

The Chieftains (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds enter the Macomb Area - White battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Chippewa Valley held off Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 7-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Big Reds face the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) in a Macomb Area - White battle, on Saturday, April 12. Chippewa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Chieftains enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI).
