The Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI) baseball got by the visiting Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Somerset for a Middle Border challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Prescott will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Cotter drops to 3-2 on the year. The Ramblers host Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Dover-Eyota lost 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN)
