The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO) and the visiting Fort Zumwalt North Panthers (O'Fallon, MO), saw Howell Central's baseball team gain a win over Fort Zumwalt North by a tally of 8-0.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Howell North (St. Charles, MO). The Knights enter the Class 6 District 4 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Howell North prevailed over Orchard Farm (St. Charles, MO), 5-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Timberland T-Wolves (Wentzville, MO) in a Class 6 District 4 battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Fort Zumwalt North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The T-Wolves enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO).
