The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI) and the visiting Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), saw Franklin's baseball team gain a win over Kettering by a tally of 10-1.

The Patriots (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stevenson (Livonia, MI). The Spartans enter the Kensington Lakes - East battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Stevenson prevailed over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 8-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Captains face the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Kettering will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Churchill (Livonia, MI).
