In Saturday's non-league bout, the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) baseball squad edged the host St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC), by a tally of 4-3.
Next up, the Hawks encounter the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 6-8 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
The Bulldogs (9-12) will now prepare for their bout against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Maroon enter the Interstate Athletic bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Episcopal edged Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA), 12-3, in a non-league bout.
