The Laker Lakers baseball squad (Pigeon, MI), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI)

With the triumph, Shepherd moves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bluejays host Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to confront the Aggies in a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. The Aggies come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Beal City lost 13-4 in their recent non-league contest against Okemos (Okemos, MI)

The Lakers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. Laker will confront a Cavaliers squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.
