The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Northridge Knights (Niles, IL), saw Latin's baseball team get by Northridge by a tally of 2-1.

The Romans (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL). The Colonels enter the Independent School battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Francis W. Parker held off Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL), 26-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 17-5 non-league loss to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL).
