The Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) baseball trounced the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), 7-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Umpqua Valley Christian for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16.
With the defeat, St. Helens drops to 5-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Blanchet Catholic won 24-0 in their recent league challenge against Willamina (Willamina, OR)
