The Marlette Red Raiders baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Peck Pirates to 2 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Saturday.
The Red Raiders now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Vassar for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Marlette will play a Vulcans team coming off a 26-0 league loss to Caro (Caro, MI). The Vulcans record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Peck drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Caseville (Caseville, MI) to play the Eagles in a North Central Thumb- Stripes test on Monday, April 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
