The Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) baseball trounced the host North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC), 22-1 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson Prep for a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 15.

With the defeat, North Edgecombe drops to 0-10 on the year. The Warriors host Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Monday, April 14. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Southeast Halifax 7-7 in their recent league game against Weldon (Weldon, NC)
