The Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) baseball trounced the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 9-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bedford for a Southeastern - Red challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Saline will clash with a Kicking Mules team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Milford (Highland, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, South Lyon drops to 1-4 on the year. The Lions host Milford (Highland, MI) to clash with the Mavericks in a Lakes Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Milford lost 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford (Temperance, MI)
