The Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 11-4 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cobre for a 3A District 3 challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Tularosa will clash with a Indians team coming off a 9-8 league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Indians record now stands at 11-5.
With the defeat, Socorro drops to 6-9 on the year. The Warriors travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to clash with the Bears in a 3A District 3 challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Hatch Valley lost 14-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM)
