In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Geneva Vikings.

The Fighting Saints (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Cadets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Marmion was nudged by Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL).
