Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Ariton moves its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Purple Cats travel to Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL) to meet the Knights in a 1A-3A Area 2 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-6. Northside Methodist Academy won 11-1 in their recent league test against Long (Skipperville, AL)

The Flying Squadron now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Long for a 1A-3A Area 2 test on Monday, April 14. Highland Home will meet a Rebels team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 5-9.
