Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Cor Jesu Academy Chargers (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting St. Joseph's Academy Angels (St. Louis, MO), saw Cor Jesu Academy's soccer squad hold off St. Joseph's Academy by a score of 2-1.

The Chargers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Triad (Troy, IL). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Triad tipped Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Angels confront the North Point Grizzlies (Wentzville, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. St. Joseph's Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO).
