The East Rockingham Eagles baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Turner Ashby Knights to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league test on Monday, April 14.
With the defeat, Turner Ashby drops to 4-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-3. Fort Defiance won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)
