New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Grande bounces Highland

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), observed Rio Grande's softball team get by Highland by a tally of 7-0.
The Ravens (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, West Mesa was routed by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 16-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Highland will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
