The Socorro Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Pebble Hills Spartans softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Saturday's league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Socorro will attempt to upgrade on its 19-0 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 17-0 league loss to Eastwood (El Paso, TX).
The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Falcons go into the challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Eastlake was routed by Franklin (El Paso, TX), 12-10, in a league challenge.
