Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Adamsville Cardinals (Adamsville, TN), 9-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Dyer County upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Choctaws travel to Waverly Central (Waverly, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 5-6.
The Cardinals now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a 2A District 13 game on Wednesday, April 16. Adamsville will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Carroll (Atwood, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
