Next, the Eagles play the Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) in a Southwestern challenge, on Monday, April 14. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 14-5 league loss to Midview (Grafton, OH).

The Rangers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers enter the Western Reserve challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Riverside edged Mentor (Mentor, OH), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
