The Carondelet Cougars got by the host Freedom Falcons softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) in a East Bay challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Carondelet will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Gaels go into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA).

The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates go into the Bay Valley challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Pittsburg was nudged by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 12-7, in a non-league challenge.
