Illinois High School Softball - South Elgin sneaks past Central

The South Elgin Storm softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Central Rockets to 3 in the Storm non-league win on Saturday.
The Storm now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a Upstate Eight battle on Monday, April 14. South Elgin will confront a Maroons team coming off a 23-6 non-league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Central moves to 4-5 on the season. The Rockets travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Fox Valley battle on Monday, April 14. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 7-0. Crystal Lake Central won 15-4 in their recent league battle against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
