New Mexico High School Softball - Cobre bounces Silver

April 12, 2025: Silver City, NM 88061

The Cobre Indians softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Silver Fighting Colts to 6 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hot Springs for a 3A District 3 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Cobre will confront a Tigers team coming off a 22-10 league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Silver moves to 13-4 on the season. The Fighting colts travel to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to confront the Desert Warriors in a 4A District 3 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Desert Warriors come into the battle with a record of 8-6. Santa Teresa lost 17-3 in their recent non-league battle against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
