Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), 4-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Edgerton upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to North Central (Pioneer, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, April 14. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-4.

In their next game, the Locomotives clash with the Stryker Panthers (Stryker, OH) in a Buckeye Border bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Montpelier will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 28-0 league loss to Hilltop (West Unity, OH).
