The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) and the visiting Eminence Warriors (Eminence, KY), observed Model's softball team prevail over Eminence by a tally of 10-1.

The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Powell County knocked off Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) in a District 31 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Eminence will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).
