New Mexico High School Softball - Espanola Valley knocked off by St. Michael's

April 12, 2025: Santa Fe, NM 87505

In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), by a tally of 16-1.

Next, the Horsemen meet the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a 3A District 2 test, on Monday, April 14. St. Michael's will attempt to advance on its 12-1 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 11-5 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).

The Sundevils (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes go into the 4A District 2 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Pojoaque Valley was routed by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 20-8, in a league test.
