The Woodstock Blue Streaks overwhelmed the host Genoa-Kingston Cogs softball squad by a count of 12-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Streaks meet the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Monday, April 14. Woodstock will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL).

The Cogs (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders go into the Big Northern challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran was routed by Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL), 13-0, in a league challenge.
