The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) and the host Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL), observed Huntley's softball team get by Metamora by a tally of 7-3.

The Red Raiders (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the Fox Valley bout with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Redbirds clash with the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Metamora will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Little Giants go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
