Michigan High School Softball - Midland edges Linden

The Midland Chemics softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Linden Eagles to 4 in the Chemics non-league win on Saturday.
The Chemics now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Saginaw Valley battle on Monday, April 14. Midland will confront a Oilers team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Oilers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Linden moves to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Flushing (Flushing, MI) to confront the Raiders in a Flint Metro battle on Monday, April 14. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
