New Mexico High School Softball - Taos knocked off by Moriarty

The Moriarty Pintos overwhelmed the host Taos Tigers softball squad by a count of 19-1 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Pintos meet the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Moriarty will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 14-4 league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).

The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Moriarty was routed by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 8-7, in a league challenge.
