The Sycamore Spartans softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Woodstock North Thunder to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochelle for a Interstate Eight battle on Monday, April 14. Sycamore will confront a Hubs team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Woodstock North moves to 2-4 on the season. The Thunder host Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to confront the Skyhawks in a Kishwaukee River battle on Monday, April 14. The Skyhawks come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Johnsburg lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL)
