In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Thomaston Bears softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Nonnewaug Chiefs.
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire outing, on Wednesday, April 14. Thomaston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 16-11 non-league win over Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT).
The Chiefs (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Wolcott RVT was routed by Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 15-0, in a non-league outing.
